Quality Deitch, an American Oscar-winning artist, illustrator, movie chief and maker has passed on. He was 95.

His Czech distributer, Petr Himmel, told The Related Press Deitch kicked the bucket out of the blue during the night from Thursday to Friday in his condo in Prague's Little Quarter neighborhood. No further subtleties were given.

Deitch's film "Munro" won the Institute Grant for Best Energized Short Film in 1960. He was likewise designated for a similar honor twice in 1964 for "Here's Nudnik" and "How to Maintain a strategic distance from Kinship."

Prior, he had made the "Tom Awesome" arrangement, while the "Sidney's Family Tree," which he co-delivered was selected for a Foundation Grant in 1958.

Conceived Aug. 8, 1924, in Chicago, Deitch showed up in Prague in 1959 meaning to remain for 10 days, however began to look all starry eyed at his future spouse, Zdenka, and remained in the Czechoslovakian capital.

Deitch is made due by his better half and by three children from his first marriage, every one of whom are visual artists and artists.
